This is something that I don't usually write about, but I'm doing it here for a dear friend of mine's sake.
His family owns this beautiful antique and luxurious Indian carpet that is made of velvet, gold, and precious stones (jewels).
It dates back to 1718 !
He's telling me that his family intends to sell this amazing artifact.

DESCRIPTION OF CARPET:
A
HUGE GROUPS OF MAGNIFICENT BRUSHED STONES FROM ALL KINDS OF THE MAGNIFICENT
STONES SUCH AS EMERALD, DIAMONDS, RUBY, SAPPHIRE WITH SPECIAL KINDS OF SUCH
STONES.
THE
FRAME MADE OF PURE GOLD ( HAND MADE ) IN VERY EXCELLENT SQUARE LOOK.
THE BASE MADE OF VERY
EXCELLENT VELVET IN DARK BLUE COLOR, WHICH REFLECTS THE IMAGINATION LOOK TO THE
NATURAL EYES SEEN.
FROM THE BOTTOM PART THE
LOCATED AT THE MIDDLE PART OF THE CARPET, THEN IT LOOKS OUT AS THE BASE FOR THE
CARPET ON HALF ROUND SHAPE WITH ( 15 cm ) UP AT THE MIDDLE OF THE VASE.
THE VASE HAS 10 MAIN
SECTIONS OF ROWS, EACH SECTION HAS DIFFERENT TYPE OF MAGNIFICENT STONES IN
DIFFERENT STYLES AND COLORS TO REFLECT THE SUN – LIGHT AND SUNSET LOOK WHICH
PROVIDE SHINING ATMOSPHERE.
AT THE INSIDE END OF THE NATURAL FLOWERS
ATMOSPHERE OF DIFFERENT COLORS IN THE VASE PROVIDE THE MAGNIFICENT STONE
REFLECTION NATURAL FLOWERS LOOK.
HISTORY OF CARPET:
THE CARPET MADE BY AN
INDIAN ARTIST CALLED SHAMS AKRA THE TIME TAKEN TO
COMPLETE THIS SUPERIOR ART WORK SEVEN YEARS FOR 18 HOURS PER DAY.
THE
CARPET ORIGINALLY MADE FOR PRINCE MAHARAJA OF STATE OF BONA CALLED SHAMS KHAN
NUR, AROUND 280 YEARS EXPECTED 1718.
DIFFERENT
WELL KNOWN FAMILIES OWNED THE CARPET, AND THEN GIVEN AS A GIFT TO THE BRITISH
DIPLOMATIC IN INDIA, AFTER WARD A RICH IRAQI FAMILY PURCHASED THE CARPET, AND
THEN WE ( THE OWNER ) PURCHASE THE CARPET FROM AL – ZOHOUR AUCTION IN BAGHDAD
1987.
